Drinking coffee might be comfort for someone or maybe a way of having intimate discussion with friends and loved ones and a way to keep oneself away from slumber.

Apart from the social benefits we get from drinking java, coffee also has have health benefits.

According to research,coffee drinkers have a lower rate of head and neck cancers.

Before the research on the relationship between coffee and cancer has had a mixed results.Some studies, have yielded lower rates of kidney and ovarian cancers among coffee chuggers,while there appears no effect for the colon cancer.

The new studies pooled results from nine previous studies on head and neck cancer,that included information on coffee and tea drinking.Both studies, patients had been compared either the general population or to institutions who didn't have cancer.

There is a significant 12 % lower chances in developing head and neck cancers for people who drink coffee than those who do not drink.

The more coffee consumed the lower is the cancer susceptibility.

The study is delimited only for the chances of developing cancer.The study do not prove that coffee itself protects a person from cancer. There are other factor factors associated with drinking coffee that may contribute to the lower cancer risk, or people with the disease might have cranked down coffee intake.

Researchers say that besides caffeine,coffee contains more than a thousand chemicals,adding that the compounds cafestol and kahweol may provide protection against carcinogen that normally damage our genes.
