If you are an avid coffee-lover, you may have noticed that recently there has been some celebrity attention to coffee.

It seems that the A-listers and the average person on the street have plenty in common when it comes to enjoying their cups of coffee.

For instance, Peter Andre famously opened his first coffee shop recently which was said to reflect his passion for the caffeine elixir.

On a more socially minded note, the actor Hugh Jackman has also ventured into the world of coffee – this time he has created a brand which is aimed to raise money (and living standards) for coffee farmers in developing countries.

Now, the headlines have been filled with news of another celebrity newcomer to the coffee industry.

Bob Marley’s son, Rohan, has also become involved with coffee.

The son of the famous musician has decided to set up an organic brand of coffee and the brand is about to be launched in the United Kingdom.

As with Hugh Jackman’s coffee venture, Marley Coffee also takes an interest in social issues.

It is said that a percentage of the profits from the brand in the United Kingdom will be donated, to provide support with the Kicks for Cause charity.

This is an organisation which creates football fields and camps for children of the communities in countries which produce coffee.

The Marley Coffee brand is said to have generated a lot of interest with high-end retailers and, unsurprisingly, is to be promoted at a number of festivals, such as One Love Reggae Festival and the Notting Hill festival in London.
