If you don't know yet or are simply too busy to thoroughly examine the matter, you are probably unaware of what is a k-cup and what it looks like. But that gap in your coffee education can be easily closed with some useful info from us.

Let's start from the company which invented the whole K-Cup system – Keurig. The company was founded in 1992, in the United States. It soon became a subsidiary of Green Mountain Coffee Roasters– a popular coffee roasting company but has its own marketplace with a significant number of coffee drinkers.

K-Cup machines are designed for a quick brewing of a single cupof coffee, chocolate and tea. K-Cup is a one-time unit with a portion of ground coffee for a single person only. As soon as the brewing machine has heated up,the coffee k cup is put into the Keurig device and a cup is placed under it's spout. A coffee k cup is ready within 20 to 60 seconds.

K cups are manufactured by a number of coffee brands which acquired this idea from Keurig company – the founding father. Here is the list with these brands:
